I think everybody knows how we feel about Children's Medical Center of Dallas. Surely its one of the greatest hospitals on the face of the earth. One of the outstanding programs is the Childlife Specialist. When Tatum was transplanted, and it was obvious she was going to live, we were approached by two Childlife Specialist, Kelly and Kelly. Immediately their concern was helping Tatum and Hannah cope with this life changing event. They were like angels sent to help us. They knew exactly what to do and they do it well. Kelly Kenamore has been there for Tatum every step of the way. She is truly special to us. An angel on earth. Please support the Childlife department at CMC. So this could only happen to Tatum. For the two years prior to transplant (BT-Before Transplant), Tatum and I were in the local City of Richardson Christmas parade with her YMCA Indian Princess tribe. This year she would have to chose because she was scheduled to be in two parades at once! Obviously she chose the Dallas parade. Its a one-time participation. And she got to ride with her special friend, Kelli. We gave Tatum a camera to use during parade. The first 25 shots are her perspective of the parade. The rest are Gary, Russ (Grandparents) and Sherry's. |
